Farmer Field Day 2010 featured the innovation of Obelt Thresher (device for paddy threshing). It was held at Bogor Institute of Agriculture’s Leuwikopo Field Laboratory, Darmaga-Bogor on 1 – 3 October 2010. This event was packed with a series of exhibitions and dissemination of technologies, farmers’ gatherings, and the introduction of new plant varieties by the Minister of Agriculture, Republic of Indonesia, Ir. H. Suswono, MMA, at the culmination of the event on the third day which was also attended by about 400 farmers from West Java, Central Java, East Java, and several other areas.

Book 102 Indonesia’s Innovations has been widely distributed since 22 September 2010, after being launched in a limited edition at the commemoration of the National Technology Day on 10 August at the Ministry of Research and Technology. The Book 102 is one of the 100 Indonesia’s Innovations publication series initiated by the Business Innovation Center (BIC).
INOTEK played an active role in the publication of 102 Indonesia’s Innovations with its involvement as one of 27 jurors who represented government institutions, research and development agencies, private corporations, academicians and non-governmental organizations. In addition, INOTEK also became 3 of 6 copywriters for the selected 102 innovations.
The partnership between INOTEK and BIC in the publication of 102 Indonesia’s Innovations was the realization of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 22 April 2010. INOTEK will undertake a selection process on the 102 innovations to explore the possibility of selecting a few innovations for RAMP Indonesia.
